A Six Foot Giraffe and A SadSad
Two awesome designers to look out for in 2009. Both are amazing at what they do. Don’t take my word for it, check them out yourself!
SixFootGiraffe’s work reminds me of Picasso’s very vibrant and unmistakable paintings. Not all the lines are straight and there are so many things that grab you and just suck you in yet it still is able to tell a cohesive story in just one frame. His pieces are very progressive and just gives you the sense of motion. SFG is definitely on his way to becoming a heavy hitter in the motion graphics industry. Keep your eye on this one because before you know it this SixFootGiraffe will live up to his name and dominate this space.
Levin Sadsad’s work tells me he knows all the rules of graphic design, i.e. layout, grid-space, typography etc., and just breaks them! His style is so simple but if you look closer there is definitely way more than meets the eye. This is one designer that gets detail. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Levin and what I admire most about him is he always starts with pen and paper. He is on his way to creating a name for himself on teh intarwebz. Make sure to check out his work and hire the guy if you wish! You won’t be disappointed.
